Buy California Marketing Agreement

Project Description:
The California Grown campaign created a partnership between government and industry to promote consumption of California-grown agricultural products to California consumers, benefiting both public health and the state's economy. A marketing agreement was created to allow agricultural organizations to establish a marketing program under the guidance of an industry advisory board and the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
Grant Status:
The California Department of Food and Agriculture and the Buy California Marketing Agreement Advisory Board have developed an unprecedented generic agriculture consumer awareness campaign. Currently, 27 organizations have signed on the campaign to support and promote California products.
