Project Description:
Cal Poly State University (CPSU) and the Cal Poly Foundation established the California Institute for the Study of Specialty Crops (CISSC) at the College of Agriculture at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. The purpose of this interdisciplinary Institute is to conduct applied research on economic policy and regulatory issues related to specialty crop industries, conduct outreach to disseminate research findings among agricultural organizations and associations, legislators, policy makers, government agencies and other stakeholders; and provide hands on educational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.
