The Grant Management Program (GMP) was created by CDFA in August of 2002 to establish fiscal accountability of the $70 million Buy California Initiative. Currently, the GMP administers 98 grants comprised of The California Grown Campaign, CA International Market Promotion for Agriculture, the Competitive Grants Program, major contracts and CDFA internal projects. GMP administers the agreements to ensure the terms and conditions are achieved.

Our goal is to ensure fiscal accountability. The GMP's responsibilities include providing on-going technical assistance and direction to all the grant recipients and ensuring their compliance with federal and state requirements.

• Special projects and research
